Deputy Holbrook attended Clark State College and in 1990, earned an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice. He began his law enforcement career with the Clark State Campus Police, and served in that capacity for 2 1/2 years. He then worked with the South Charleston Police Department for 1 year. From there, he moved to the Medina County Sheriff's Office and in 1991, he was promoted to Sergeant with the Medina County Drug Task Force, working in that capacity from 1993 to 1996. Holbrook came to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office as a Detective in 1997. Jeff was certified in composite artistry in 1992. He also has extensive training in Technical Surveillance, Narcotics Investigation, and Sex Crimes. In 1999, Deputy Holbrook was reassigned to the patrol division. Holbrook enjoys hunting, fishing the outdoors and spending time with his family.
