The Fayette  County Sheriff's Investigation Division is housed in the Sheriff's Annex under the command of Captain Robert Crabtree.

The Investigation Division handles all major crime investigations for the Sheriff.  The major emphasis is placed on violent crime to include rape, robbery, felonious assaults and felony domestic violence.

The Investigation Division works closely with the U.S. 23 Pipeline Task Force, in ridding our community of drugs.
