Deputy Hellenthal has been an auxiliary deputy with the Fayette County Sheriff's Office since December of 1994. Kris is a member of the Emergency Response Team. His full time occupation is as a Lieutenant with the Department of Corrections in a state institution. Kris is a SWAT Team instructor, chemical munitions instructor and firearms instructor for the Department of Corrections. In his spare time, Deputy Hellenthal enjoys working with computers, playing golf and spending time with his family.
