The Fayette County Sheriff's Office assumed responsibilities of the Fayette County Dog Pound in October of 2010.  The hours of operation were extended to better serve Fayette County.  For after hours assistance, please call the Sheriff's Office at 740-335-6170.

Sunday – closed
Monday – 8 am to 4 pm
Tuesday – 8 am to 6 pm
Wednesday – 8 am to 12 noon
Thursday – 8 am to 4 pm
Friday – 8 am to 6 pm
Saturday – 8 am to 4 pm

SPECIAL EVENTS / NEWS:

AN AUCTION WILL BE HELD ON OCTOBER 15, 2011 10:00 a.m. AT THE FAYETTE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS SALES ARENA TO REPLENISH THE SPAY/NEUTER FUND.  THE DOG POUND WILL CONTINUE TO ACCEPT GENTLY USED OR NEW ITEMS FOR THE AUCTION THRU OCTOBER 13, 2011.  DONATIONS CAN BE DELIVERED TO THE POUND DURING REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS.  NO STUFFED ANIMALS OR CLOTHING ARTICLES ARE BEING ACCEPTED.  PICTURES OF SOME OF THE DONATED ITEMS CAN BE SEEN AT WWW.AUCTIONZIP.COM  AUCTIONEER ID#22610.
