Deputy Tom Rodgers

Deputy Rodgers began his law enforcement career with the Fayette County Sheriff's Office in 1976, and graduated from the Ohio State Highway Patrol Academy in 1981. In 1994, Tom was certified as a Basic D.A.R.E. officer by OPOTC and in 1996, as a Junior High D.A.R.E. Officer. He currently serves on the Sheriff's Auxiliary. Deputy Rodgers is also a Rescue Specialist, and oversees the Emergency Rescue Team. Tom has been instrumental in assisting in the education of local Fire Departments with rescue tools. He has also had instruction in many other specialized fields. Some of which include; Gang Investigation, Internal Investigations, Criminal Investigations, the Reid Interview and Interrogation Techniques school as well extensive training in motor vehicle, grain bin and heavy rescue techniques. Toms hobbies include woodworking, sign making and raising sheep and chickens.
