Deputy Roger Wilson

Deputy Wilson came to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office as an auxiliary unit on April 27, 2001. He earned his Ohio Peace Officer certificate at Southern State Community College, and the Greenfield Peace Officers Academy in 2002. His duties as an auxiliary unit include working with units in the jail division, patrol division, Common Pleas and Municipal Courts, prisoner transports and various other special duties. Roger's full time occupation is a Firefighter with the Washington Court House FD, where he holds the rank of Captain. He is also a certified fire instructor. Roger has has extensive training in the fire service, including Arson/Fire Investigations, first line supervisor, Emergency Response to Terrorism and Incident Management. For rest and relaxation, his favorite past times include bowling, softball, motorcycle riding and being with his family.
