Lt. Wise began his law enforcement career with the Fayette County Sheriff's Office in May of 1971 as a field deputy. In December of 1980, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant with investigative duties. In 1998, Charlie was assigned Staff Sergeant duties which include Court House security. In 2005 he was promoted to a Lieutenant with additional administrative duties.
